ABCs about me

Welcome to my blog! (Is THIS how you start a blog?) I'm new at this.. so I figured I would let you all get to know me a little better.
Saw this on another blog, cute idea, so I thought I'd give it a shot in the dark.


The ABC’s of Me:
A. Age: 25

B. Bed size: Full.

C. Chore you dislike: Dishes, luckily our new house will have a dishwasher! No, not everyone has a dishwasher.

D. Dogs: 1, Australian Shepherd.. his name is Itchy.

E. Essential start to your day: Coffee.

F. Favorite colors: I really don't have a favorite.

G. Gold or silver: Both, currently.

H. Height: 5’4’’

I. Instruments you play(ed): I tried my hand at sax, failure.

J. Job title: Insurance Producer, momma, wife, daughter, sister, new blogger!

K. Kids: 2 boys!

L. Live: Oklahoma

M. Mom’s name: Janice, (juh-neice)

N. Nicknames: Kay, Katie, Katie Bugs.. I hate all of those.

O. Overnight hospital stays: Just for labor reasons.

P. Pet peeves: Rude people definitely.

Q. Quote from a movie:

R. Righty or lefty: Righty.

S. Siblings: 1 lovely sister, younger than me by nearly 3 years.

T. Time you wake up: Between 5:30 and 7 am.

U. Underwear: You can’t possibly be interested.

V. Vegetables you don’t like: Onions, unless cooked. Radishes, peas.. everything else is game.

W. What makes you run late: My life

X. X-rays you’ve had: Weird question, none that I can recall.

Y. Yummy food you make: I'm currently a master at juicing.

Z. Zoo animal you like: giraffes.


 Hope that give you an insight to me, or my personality perhaps.
I'm hoping to take you on a journey through a busy momma's life; learning to discover myself after my life has already begun.

And since I'm embarking on a raw food journey currently, this one was fun too!


A) Preferred way to eat avocados: sliced

B) Daily banana intake: maybe one a week.

C) Cacao or carob? Cacao wins because I have not tried carob, actually.

D) Durian? The horror.

E) Essential to start the day: Again I say, coffee.

F) Favorite fruit: Any/ All. Pomegrantes if they were easier to eat. Plums are also on the top of my list.

G) Guru you like: I'm not much on guru's, but I may have one some day!

H) Healthy meal: Kale salad? or Spinach perhaps.

I) Ice cream base: I have not made a dairy-less ice cream as of yet.

J) Juice or smoothies? Juice

K) Favorite way to eat kale: as chips, massaged with seasonings.

L) # of Lemons in your house right now: Probably 4-6

M) Muscle testing: hoax or real? I guess I have a lot to learn.

N) Nut butter: favorite kind? Almond butter.

O) Organic or conventional? I'm going organic as much as possible. Tough in a rural community.

P) Pickled veggies: I'm not much on pickled veggies, okra maybe and cucumbers.

Q) Questions you get asked about your diet: So Where do you get your protein? What can you eat?

R) Recipe you love: Too many to name. Currently a juice with pears, lime, and cilantro.

S) Skin brushing? I have debated on whether to start now or not.

T) Type of water you drink: Tap mostly.

U) Unbelievable thing that’s related to eating raw: I don't miss meat in the least.

V) Vegetable you love: Kale or broccoli.

W) Why did you start eating raw? To have better digestion and more energy.

X) X-rated vegetable or fruit: Bananas.

Y) Yummy food you make: I am just starting but I make a mean green juice OR salad :)

Z) Favorite use of zucchinis:  for meatless spaghetti
